1. Add something that expires
Tap the big + button. Pick what it is (passport, license, insurance…). Type a name and the date it runs out. That's it — you're done in about 30 seconds.
Guide
Validor is a place to keep every date that runs out — passports, licenses, insurance, permits, contracts. You write the date down once, and Validor tells you when it's getting close. Here is everything, step by step.
Tap the big + button. Pick what it is (passport, license, insurance…). Type a name and the date it runs out. That's it — you're done in about 30 seconds.
Green means lots of time. Yellow means it's getting closer. Orange means soon. Red means it's very close or already finished. Each card also says it in words, like "23 days left".
Validor can remind you 6 months, 3 months, 1 month, 1 week before, and on the day. Turn them on or off with the little chips when you add or edit a document.
A profile can be anyone or anything — you, a family member, an employee, a student, a car, a delivery van, a shop, a building or a whole department. Every document belongs to one profile, so tapping a profile shows only its dates. If you chose a School account, Validor already suggests school documents like teaching licenses and first-aid certificates.
The Timeline tab shows the next months in order, so you can see what's coming and plan ahead. Anything already expired sits at the top.
Swipe the card and tap Renew (or open it and tap "Mark as renewed"). Type the new expiry date and Validor starts counting again, keeping the old dates in its history.
In Settings you'll find two rows: Encrypted backup and Restore backup. Here's what each one does.
Making a backup
Restoring a backup
Only your password can open the file — not even Validor can read it, and we cannot recover a forgotten password. Making a fresh backup after big changes is a good habit.
You don't need an app store. Add Validor to your home screen and it opens full screen, just like a normal app.
Step 1. Open validor.net and look for the small install icon at the right of the address bar.
Step 2. Click it, then click “Install”.
Step 3. Validor opens in its own window, like a normal program.
Installing is free and takes a few seconds. It uses almost no space, and you can remove it like any other app.
Your first document takes about 30 seconds. Free for up to 3 documents.
